This world we live in is being destroyed! Countries are fighting over their boundaries. It seems that we are seeing all of the signs for this end-time day, that Jesus speaks of, come to pass before our very eyes. But Jesus says, "The end is not yet" Mark 13:7.
We, I believe, are being prepared for this hour, but many still sleep and are afraid of what is beginning to happen. They nervously store up food and water, changing their currency to gold and silver, removing it from banks and keeping it in their possession. They hide it where only they will know, IN CASE they will need to exchange it for supplies and survive with it.
Jesus says many shall come in His Name. They shall come basing their claims on the use of His Name, saying, "I am He," They will mislead many. The famine for God's Word continues to blind and deceive many. While our God is still going to fill this earth with His Glory. That rock, spoken of in Daniel 2, cut out of the mountain without human hands. (No one can add to or take away from God's plan through His Son).
As Jesus was coming out of the temple area, one of His disciples said to Him, "Look teacher! Notice the sort and quality of these stones and buildings." Our eyes, which are so accustomed to looking in this natural realm, are still seeing stone and building, places which are designated for a "this and that" kind of ministry. Very often we judge their success by their size or beauty, or the amount of people attending their program. When Jesus replied to him, he said, "You see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be loosened and thrown down." Our eyes, it seems, are trying to understand in this natural realm. But I believe Jesus' answer to them speaks of a higher understanding. He said, "Be careful and watchful that no one misleads you about it. Many will come appropriating to themselves the name of "Messiah" which belongs to me, in my name, basing their claims on the us of my name, saying 'I am (He)' and they will mislead many." The Word says, "Take heed lest any man deceive you", and Jesus continues to say, "they shall deceive many."
Now Jesus is talking about buildings and stones. But, by the Holy Spirit's Knowledge, we know He is speaking of end-time events that are to take place here in this "last day" also. Our eyes are being made to see in the completeness of revelation knowledge. We are beginning to see truth for this hour coming forth. Praise God! So, wars and rumors of wars are not to trouble us, Jesus says, "Such things must be. But the end shall not be yet. Nation shall rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places and there shall be famine and trouble. These are the beginnings of (sorrows) (Pain, sorrow, travail)."
I believe the Word is very clear about all of this impending disaster and it will be just as Jesus said it would be. The last verse of Mark 13: says that ...he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.
To endure means to last without perishing, to remain, to abide, to suffer without resistance or without yielding, to bear with patience, no sinking under the pressure.
The church today must learn the word endurance and be able to act upon it. Endurance negates fear. Fear is one of the strongholds in the Body of Christ today. So much of what is done is through the power of fear, because people are afraid of the unknown or what their problems will cause. Much of what is done is looked at through the eyes of fear. Fear brings its bondage like a chain wrapped around its victim, holding until it controls. Fear in its full force can cause such a horror that death will come!
Jesus said, "Take heed lest any man deceive you". Deception causes error and blindness when it is in power. The believer is unaware of where or what it is doing to them. It can cover understanding and make wrong look as though it is right! We look around and see the passive, careless, Christians sitting with hands folded, waiting for someone to pray them through. When God is shaping His submissive body. He is dealing with those who are seeking Him, calling forth "His nature within." These will be ready and shall partake of His Word -- becoming His image. This is sometimes referred to as the "High calling of God." This is very real and it is the work of the refiner's fire. This will cause great care of service to Him. Walking pure, holy, glory as we are brought into absolute and complete submission to the Will of the Lord Jesus! We will be ready when He comes!
I have felt for sometime that we should set down our thoughts to encourage like-minded believers in the areas of life where God has taught us. The overcomer's message will be understood by today's generation. How will this happen? Let us look at Isaiah 53:5. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed. The amplified translation states chastisement (needful to obtain our peace) was upon Him and with His stripes we are HEALED.
It seems that everyone is looking for "signs for this last day". I believe the Lord is encouraging every believer to be READY. But, as long as everyone is looking far into the future for events to show that it is the last day, they are diverting attention away from what they really need to ...and that is to GET READY! Get ready, then no matter when it comes, we will be able to walk through it.
Much of God's Word has been like a mystery, hidden from view to this natural realm. In Mark 13:14 we read that when you see the "abomination of desolation" (mentioned by Daniel the Prophet) standing where it ought not to be and let the one who reads take notice and consider and understand and heed this. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. ("Judea" = praise, "mountains" = a high place in God, like yearning for the Lord with all your heart.)
Daniel 9:17-18 - In Daniel's prayer, he says, "Cause your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. (18) Oh my God, incline your ear and hear; open your eyes and look at our desolations, and the city which is called by your Name.
We close with this thought. We are praying for this "last day" people. We are exposing some of the areas that must be looked into. Everything that God has declared will be fulfilled. Most all of these definitions for the abomination of desolation are already in the church. These "attitudes" can be seen on every level of church government. This "last day", I believe, is upon us. "The day of sorrow", desolation, all of these are upon us. The abomination that seems to be so clearly seen is idolatry rebellion. Error is close behind as people are crying out in their warfare for God to deliver them. Jesus still fulfills His Word to us. Everyone is welcome. They called out "Teacher". He teaches and the hungry student learns. God is more than enough.
God's household has been provided with "a secret place" Psalm 91, He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty (whose power no foe can withstand).
What a day it is! We encourage all who read this letter to yearn for Jesus and all that He is. Amen! This great family of God, will be ready. The Word is being revealed to all who seek Him ...Jesus! Amen.
PATIENTLY: to compose one's self. Without discontent or murmuring.
PERSEVERES: with perseverance to continued pursuit of what is undertaken; to be constant; like saying "hold on there" to someone who needs encouragement.
ENDURE: to last without perishing; to remain; to abide; to suffer without resistance or without yielding; to bear with patience, no sinking under pressure.
TO THE END: this "Omega" company of believers partakers of Jesus Christ's Salvation; shall be delivered from Spiritual death, which can be seen everywhere, even in the church.
DEATH: a perpetual separation from God; separation or alienation of the soul from God; a being under the dominion of sin; and destitute of grace or divine life; this is Spiritual Death Zeph. 3:1-20
REBELLIOUS: root word "rebel" to make war again; to revolt; to renounce the authority of the laws of government to which one owes allegiance.
DESOLATION: 1.) the act of desolating destruction or expulsion of inhabitants; destruction; ruined; wasted; ravaged.
2.) every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation.
3.) a desolation - desolate state; gloominess; sadness; destitution; in the strong concordance we run the references to Dan. (9) Desolation in the Sanctuary (Hebrew) (Shaw-mame) prime root: to stun; grow numb; devastate; stupefy; be astonished; (to lie) to make desolate; be destitute; destroy self; lie, lay, make waste; to wonder. Dan. 9:2 decayed place; destruction; laid waste place.
ABOMINABLE: extreme hatred; detestable, loathsome. Proverbs 15: The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord.
1.) Abominable: Very hateful. This word is applicable to whatever is odious to the mind or offensive to the senses.
2.) Unclean, sinful. Remember - 1 Kings 21 - Naboth's field was handled abominably by Jezebel.
3.) Defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, or evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilement. Idols and idolatry are called abominations. The Jews were an abomination to the Egyptians and the sacred animals of the Egyptians were an abomination to the Jews. The Roman Army is called the abomination of desolation. In short, whatever is an object of extreme hatred, is called an abomination.
These past few months have been like no other to us. Our son Mark was gravely ill. We prayed and prayed for him to be healed, but it seemed like the closer we got to Jesus, the worse Mark became.
I found myself weak by what I was seeing in the natural. But when I rose up in prayer in the spirit, I was strong. Now, I realize Jesus is the only way we can conquer sin, Hell and the grave. It must be understood and walked out. All of this drove us to the Lord. I was not willing for Mark to go home with Jesus. My "momma" heart cried out for his life. My son, my seed, where was I to rest with peace? I couldn't seem to get past what my eyes were seeing in the natural. Finally, I passed into a Holy protected state. A state where Jesus was so real, kind and gentle. I could talk to Jesus better now I thought, and slowly I realized Jesus was going to take him home and I was willing now to let him go. Mark is Alive! He is really living! Absent in this body but present with the Lord! Mark has passed from death to life. He was ready for this great event. In my Spirit I see him with that "great cloud of witnesses, cheering all of us on, to the mark of God's High Calling! Praise God.
In my "Mother's heart" I am remembering a beautiful little boy who's first words were "Daddy and Momma", and his second words were "What's that?" Mark had a wonderful mind. He began to love and know Jesus as a teenager, and his faith and worship brought him to begin to say, "What's that in God's Kingdom. Seeking more of Jesus and longing to be used by the Lord. Mark was a fine Minister, a clear word in his heart. People were helped everywhere he went.
I Cor. 15:25-26 - for (Christ) must be King and reign until He has put all (His) enemies under His feet (Ps. 110:1)
I Cor. 15:25-26 - the last enemy to be subdued and abolished is death. Death has been swallowed up in victory. This wonderful chapter that is so full of truth, I pray you will hide it in your heart and ponder all it speaks of.
Love knows no boundaries. It is just as real in Heaven as it is in earth. Love is the blessing that holds the family together. It is a part of God's "Divine Order" for His family. It is not to be handled carelessly. It must be separated from lust. Love, Gods' love to us can't be removed. He is always there, nothing can happen to us that He does not allow. His ways are past finding out.
Many times when I am counseling with someone for rejection, self-pity and so forth, I find that they can't seem to remember if momma and daddy ever said "I love you." It seems so simple, what could it possibly hurt? I'm seeing men and women of all ages still having trouble with their emotions because of this.
Rejection is a powerful force at work in these people. They don't for the most part, know how to love unconditionally, or that God's Love never fails! We have a nation full of broken homes, sexual perversion being allowed under the disguise of love. What will our generation say as we stand before God in this "last day?"
Families that show their love for each other are strong, they have good self esteem. Belonging, caring, expressing that care plays a mighty roll in humanity. It seems the enemy works very hard to destroy love (because he knows the power of God's love.) God's love will keep and protect us in these last days. Jesus' love at Calvary says it all for us.
Olen and I always prayed for Mark to have a "hearing heart." When God speaks we listen because we have the God ability to hear, in the Spirit as well as the natural realm. When Moses said "Hear O'Israel", it meant TO LISTEN TO , AND OBEY.
We praise God for all of His blessings. He made a way where there was no way. Now, hear the hope and prayer of all of us. To BE READY, God is declaring His call like a mighty trumpet sound. Our ears are hearing His voice, and we are ready to obey.
We want to share with you the last message that Mark wrote, as a tribute to his memory. We miss him so very much, and we know this is not final in God's great calendar of coming events. We will be together again, complete in Jesus. Amen!
In these End-Time days we see our country falling down around our heads. Giving itself over to every desire of the flesh, or every feeling that does not require any type of discipline. No one wants to deal with themselves. "If it feels good, do it!"
Our nation has turned its back on God. We see many Christians so caught up in the things of the world, or in pleasing themselves. That is all they think about and nothing else. They measure their faith or standing with God, by the amount of material possessions they have. For example, how big a house they have, or the kind of car they drive, or the jewelry they wear. Or even worse, they trust in a man, and what he tells them. Instead of learning to trust God and walk in his continual presence, strong in the Word, tested and tried. "They should be obedient to the Word of God, rather than a feeling."
It's time for the sheep to mature and follow the "True Shepherd." The word shepherd means, someone who is the herder of the sheep. It is time for those in ministry to realize that they are not the true shepherds, but they watch over and help protect the sheep for the True Shepherd. The True Shepherd leads the flock to safe pasture. The office of the sheep master, or Chief Shepherd was one of great trust as well as honor. It was the shepherd's duty to count them daily, every tenth lamb belonged to God. He was responsible to find the lost ones. Leviticus 27:32 talks about all of the flock that passes under the herdsman's staff. That is every tenth lamb shall be holy unto the Lord, (become God's property.)
Verse 33 - The man shall not examine whether the animal is good or bad, nor shall he exchange it; if he does exchange it, then both the tenth lamb and the animal substituted for it shall be holy, it shall not be redeemed. These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites ...thus, signifying that every lamb that the staff falls on belongs to the Lord. The lamb is accepted just the way it is. We come to Jesus just the way we are, and he saves us and begins that awesome task of healing, restoration, and discipline. He uses many instruments in our lives to help us adjust and become His Will, and feed in His green pasture. Whether it is a herdsman or a sheep dog that is sent to tend the sheep, the sheep learn to obey in what every discipline that the Lord uses. Jesus said that my sheep know my voice, and a stranger's voice they will not follow. (St. John 10)
1st John 3:1-24. See what an incredible quality of love the Father has given us, that we should be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know us, is that it does not know Him. The sons of God must find out who they really are in Jesus Christ, and stand and take their birthright. This birthright is given to the Sons of God through the shed blood of the Lamb, our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, and the only True Shepherd!
Christ the Head, we, the body, chosen by Him to be His Body. Can a head operate without a body? Can a body operate without a head? Christ is our sovereign God, able to do anything He desires. He chose to share His inheritance, and true birthright. With His creation He made us in His own image. Jesus shed His own blood for us, gave up His own life here on earth for us that we might be called Sons of God; (Romans 8:14) for all who are lead by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God. As His chosen body, we shall accomplish the work of the "Great Commission." (Mark 16:17): And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe; In my Name they will rive out demons, they will speak in new languages; they will pick up serpents, and even if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well. (AMP).
Is there not a world out there, lost in darkness, suffering, being destroyed, deceived and ultimately brought to death itself? Unless we the body step up into maturity and take our place as the joint heirs of Jesus, the lost will perish. The True Sons of God in the earth knows that they are standing in the power of God's might. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercessions for us. Not just for our salvation and healing, but for empowering us to be conformed to His Image and become His Likeness (St. John 1:12). But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become the Sons of God, that is to those who believe, adhere to trust in, and rely on His Name. Those who owe their birth neither to bloods, nor to the will of the flesh (that of physical impulse), nor to the will of man (that of a natural father), but to God -- They are born of God!
John 15:12-13 tells us that there is no greater love has any man that he lay down his life for his friend, or loved one. Our Lord did that for us. What we must understand is that He required the same from us. Paul said "I die daily". If we are willing to die to the flesh and this world, we can walk in the spirit, in the power of His word, more every day. We are becoming more and more conformed to His Word. Therefore, conformed to His image and likeness.
1st Peter 1:13 tells us we will be Holy as Jesus is Holy. There is no gray area nor any middle ground in God. We must give God our all, even as He has given us all. We must come together standing strong in the power of His might. As Paul said in Ephesians 6:10-24, "having done all to stand, stand against the power of Satan, stand with your loins girded with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of the preparation of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God."
So I urge you who are reading this article to take the instructions of The Book of Hebrews 12:1-5 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every encumbrance. Not caring or always understanding how it got there. The weights of this world continues to drag us down, and prevents us from becoming what God intended us to be. We must deal with ourselves and "Sanctify the Vessel." We must be willing to lay everything we hold dear in this world down forever! We must, in fact, die to our flesh. Just as Jesus died for us. We were bought with a price ... His Blood. He sacrificed himself willingly so He could draw us, as His Body to Himself, and becoming one with Him. Christ the Head, and we are His Body, both inseparable.
Let God arise and His enemies be scattered! How do we do this? (Hebrews 12:2) Fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is the author, and he started the work in you. He is the finisher of the work. Faith comes in where we lay our will down and die that Jesus may live. He will finish His work in us if we stay fixed in Him. Jesus is the Word, and His life is in you. As we do this faithfully, His will shall be performed in us. As we decrease, He increases in us, until we are totally consumed by Him. LET IT BE SO LORD, IN US ALL!
Let the Sons of God arise so we can usher in the coming of the Lord. His perfect will be done in all of us!
